We at Cannabliss Gardens understand that Sex work IS work! There is no one sex industry. Escorting, street hustling, hostessing, stripping, performing sex for videos and webcams—the range of labor that falls under the category of “the sex industry” makes speaking of just one sometimes feel inadequate. To collapse all commercial sex that way often risks conjuring something so flat and shallow that it would only reinforce the insistence that all sex for sale results from the same phenomenon—violence, deviance or desperation. When in all actuality thats not always how it is.
2020 has given us many things, un certainty, coronavirus, killer hornets, but it’s also given us more ways to be safe while working in the sex work industry. Sites like Onlyfans, Frisk, Manyvids etc make it easy for users to create & sell sexually explicit content. However singing up and posting photos is not going to make you bank right off the start, unless you’ve already started this having a huge following on your social media accounts, its going to take a little more work then that.
First things first, you need to come up with something thats going to set you apart from the rest, think about how many other women ( and men ) are out there doing that same thing you’re trying to do. Creating content is 20% off the job, the rest is about marketing and advertising.
However content is still important! So theres photoshoots that you need to book / invest in. If you’re wanting to do this right you’ll also need to invest in lighting & maybe camera gear. Schedule shoots with other sex workers, spend time interacting with your fans, market & invest in promo. The list goes on.
When we started Cannabliss Garden we wanted to support those who are misunderstood, groups that always seems to get deemed “Lazy” or told to “Get a real job” When SEX WORK IS WORK BABY! We are a proud supporter of the Sex Work Industry but we don’t stop there! We are all about supporting our fellow human, sex work or not – especially those being treated with less than they deserve.
Reminder: Just because it’s not for you, doesn’t mean it’s wrong.
